About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Associate or Experienced Procurement Agent to join their team in Hazelwood, MO. This role is critical for sourcing new parts and suppliers, managing internal business proposals for supplier selections, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to define contract needs and specifications. The agent will be responsible for evaluating proposals, negotiating contract terms, conditions, and pricing to secure the best value for the organization. A key aspect of the role involves reviewing and analyzing contracts to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as internal policies and audit standards. Furthermore, the position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to streamline procurement procedures and align with organizational goals, and initiating supplier improvement activities to integrate results into contracting strategies. The company is hiring for a broad range of experience levels, including both Associate and Experienced Procurement Agents.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
  • 3+ years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience presenting for executive leadership awareness and approval
  • Experience in Contract Management
  • Familiarity with FAR and DFAR type contracting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities
