About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Position Responsibilities: Source new parts and new suppliers for parts Manage internal business proposals for supplier selections Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify contract needs and specifications Evaluate proposals and negotiate contract terms and conditions Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions to achieve the best value for the organization Review and analyze contracts to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline procurement procedures and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and audit requirements Initiate and execute supplier improvement activities and integrate results into contracting strategies This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position is for 1st shift. This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Procurement and/or strategic sourcing practices and processes
  • 5+ Experience project management experience with multiple stake holders
  • 5+ Experience drafting contracts or legal documents
  • 5+ Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience presenting for executive leadership awareness and approval
  • Experience in Contract Management
  • Familiarity with FAR and DFAR type contracting

  • Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
  • Summary pay range: $102,850 - $127,050
