About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate or Experienced Procurement Agent to join their team in Hazelwood, MO. The team is actively hiring for various experience levels, including Associate and Experienced Procurement Agents. This role involves sourcing new parts and suppliers, managing internal business proposals for supplier selections, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to define contract needs and specifications. The agent will evaluate proposals, negotiate contract terms and conditions, and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements. They will also work with cross-functional teams to streamline procurement procedures and initiate supplier improvement activities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
• 3+ years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Experience presenting for executive leadership awareness and approval
• Experience in Contract Management
• Familiarity with FAR and DFAR type contracting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Source new parts and new suppliers for parts

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline procurement procedures and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and audit requirements
• Initiate and execute supplier improvement activities and integrate results into contracting strategies
