Associate or Experienced Procurement Agent
About The Position
Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate or Experienced Procurement Agent to join their team in Hazelwood, MO. The role involves sourcing new parts and suppliers, managing internal business proposals, collaborating with stakeholders, evaluating proposals, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal requirements. The position requires meeting U.S. export control compliance requirements, meaning a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is necessary. This is not a Safety Sensitive Position, does not require a Security Clearance, and is not contingent upon program award. Relocation assistance is not negotiable, and employer will not sponsor employment visa status.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
- 3+ years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experience presenting for executive leadership awareness and approval
- Experience in Contract Management
- Familiarity with FAR and DFAR type contracting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Source new parts and new suppliers for parts
- Manage internal business proposals for supplier selections
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify contract needs and specifications
- Evaluate proposals and negotiate contract terms and conditions
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to achieve the best value for the organization
- Review and analyze contracts to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline procurement procedures and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and audit requirements
- Initiate and execute supplier improvement activities and integrate results into contracting strategies
