About The Position

The Assoc Ops Sup Analyst is responsible for providing operations support services, including but not limited to; record/documentation maintenance, storage & retrieval of records, account maintenance with the Operations - Core Team. Additionally, the Assoc Ops Sup Analyst serves as the liaison between operations staff, relationship managers, project managers, custodians and clients. The overall objective of this role is to provide day-to-day operations support in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes. This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required. >>>HOP TO HOP eligible<<< Daily Reconciliation and General Ledger Entry for multiple lines of business reporting the financial activity through the supported application. Daily validation of file and funding for incoming transactional files from vendors. Review, analyze and execute daily database updates to application profile data records. Identify & gather database profile requirements for various business initiatives ensuring timelines and accuracy of implementation on multiple platforms. Independently assess workflow processes and redirect work as necessary to ensure operating schedules are met. Integrates established operational knowledge within own specialty area, combined with a basic understanding of related industry practices. Provide subject matter expertise to related operations projects. Interprets operational data and trends and makes recommendations for process improvements. Recommend appropriate actions to resolve identified operational issues or gaps.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Business Banking, Citi Commercial Banking Products and Services
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proven problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Build and run reports such as Management Information Systems (MIS) or financial forecasts and results, as needed
  • Research and interpret standard information and identify inconsistencies in data or results
  • Assist in training team members on loan resources as well as provide testing assistance for production validation and host release
  • Prepare basic presentations for management
  • Support trouble ticket resolution
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
