About The Position

A large healthcare organization is seeking an Associate Network Engineer to support network inventory management, equipment lifecycle tasks, and light hands‑on network work across multiple sites. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working independently within a fast-paced, close-knit team.

Requirements

Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
Experience entering and managing data in ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
Comfort working in network closets and assisting with post‑installation cleanup.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, fast-moving team.
Basic understanding of switching, TCP/IP, Wi‑Fi, and physical cabling standards/practices.
Foundational knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and hardware/software configuration.
Ability to follow technical procedures and assist with troubleshooting under guidance.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools and methodologies.
Exposure to enterprise networking environments or IT infrastructure teams.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain network inventory, including physical shipping, receiving, and tracking of equipment.
Enter and update asset information accurately within ServiceNow.
Support cleanup efforts following network refreshes or equipment installations in network closets.
Assist with basic installation, maintenance, and support of local and wide area network infrastructure.
Help ensure reliable, secure, high‑performance data, voice, and video communications across the environment.
Follow established cabling, labeling, and physical infrastructure standards.
Operate a company vehicle as needed (valid driver’s license required).
