About The Position

We are seeking an Associate Network Engineer to support a large enterprise IT environment. This role focuses on network inventory management, equipment lifecycle support, and accurate data entry within ServiceNow. The ideal candidate is organized, self‑motivated, and eager to gain hands‑on experience within network operations. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high‑performing team supporting a major healthcare system undergoing significant technology expansion and modernization.

Requirements

Experience with basic switching, TCP/IP, Wi‑Fi, and physical cabling standards/practices
Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and hardware/software configuration
Ability to stay organized while managing multiple tasks, inventories, and data systems
Comfortable working on‑site and independently

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools and methodologies (preferred)

Responsibilities

Manage network equipment inventory, including physical shipping and receiving
Input and maintain accurate asset data within ServiceNow
Support cleanup and organization of network closets following equipment refreshes or installations
Assist with installation, maintenance, and support of local and wide area network infrastructure
Ensure reliable, secure, high‑performance data, video, and voice communications
Work independently in a fast‑paced, close‑knit team environment
Perform lifting and movement of network equipment as needed
Must hold a valid driver’s license
