About The Position

Associate Medical Staff Coordinator at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka, CA. This position is full time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts. Supports the Medical Staff Office Department to meet the administrative needs by providing a variety of administrative services. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to support for the Medical Staff and Medical Staff Services Department. Provides support for orientations, data entry, memo distribution, minuting and meeting support, and follow-up of action items and special projects. Provides for back-up when Medical Staff Office department members are out of the office. Provides a variety of skilled administrative assistant and administrative duties. Types and assists with composing correspondence, reports, records and other documents. Assists in department projects as directed. Reports to the Manager of Medical Staff Services. Requirements

  • 2 years of Healthcare background

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s Degree in a related field or equivalent education/experience
  • 2 years of Administrative Assistant experience
