Under the guidance of the Medical Director for Hematologic Oncology, the Associate Medical Director will provide a single medical affairs voice in the development and execution of the US Medical Affairs Plan in support of a drug’s development, launch, and lifecycle management. The Associate Medical Director will be responsible for medical activities including congress activities, coordinating cross-company initiatives, and interaction with external therapeutic area experts in peer-to-peer conversations to inform the continuous evolution of the Medical Plan. This role requires matrix leadership, strong communication skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders throughout Servier in both the Global and U.S. organizations in a manner that fosters and preserves the independence and integrity of the Medical function. The individual must also be viewed as a strong scientific partner who can readily bridge between a cutting-edge research environment and a fast-paced clinical and product development organization.
