Mediassociates is seeking a planning-forward Associate Media Director with deep linear TV expertise to lead strategy and execution across a defined client roster. This role is heavily focused on upper-funnel video investment (linear TV + direct CTV), with additional exposure to digital and performance-driven planning. While we maintain a highly flexible work culture for all, our local candidates are encouraged to use our updated office space in Sandy Hook, CT which allows you to take part in our office culture and team development that naturally occurs in office. In addition, if you need to take a break from work, there is a beautiful waterfall and serene stream just outside our front door. Candidates from outside the local area who are able to work during our core East Coast office hours, 8:30am-5:30pm ET, are encouraged to apply. Our team working remotely is invited to the office a minimum of two times per year for our Summer Party and again for the Holiday Party. Requirements

  • 6–8 years of agency media planning experience
  • Deep working knowledge of linear TV planning (network, cable, local broadcast)
  • Experience with CTV/streaming and full-funnel strategy
  • Strong analytical, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Comfort managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of media plans across linear TV, direct CTV, and digital channels
  • Own strategic rationale, budget allocation, channel mix, and flowchart management
  • Apply Nielsen currency, reach/frequency modeling, and upfront/scatter expertise
  • Translate performance data into clear optimization insights
  • Serve as a key client contact and collaborate across internal teams
  • Mentor junior planners and uphold high planning standards
