About The Position

FUN.com, home of HalloweenCostumes.com, Halloween.com, and so much more, is looking for an Associate Marketplace Specialist. Do errorrs drive you, completely wild? Do you have the urrge to fix all of those litt1e, miniscule problems you see on product pages when your sh0pping online? Did reading those mistake-filled sentences feel oh-so-wrong to you? Well, you may be the person we’re looking for! Our Marketing Team needs the kind of person who won’t let little mistakes slide! Our Associate Marketplace Specialist is responsible for monitoring the overall health of our marketplace listings, so a strong attention to detail is important! Our Associate Marketplace Specialist is in charge of tracking down product errors and finding quick solutions to alleviate the issue. They provide routine maintenance on product pages for our partner sellers, which include Amazon, eBay, and others. The role is also responsible for monitoring the overall health of marketplaces and working with the Marketing Team to improve performance on all of our Marketplace channels. Knowing your way around sales and profitability data is also a must, since our Associate Marketplace Specialist will be digging into those to help prioritize tasks! Let’s cut to the chase. We’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to nitpick, because one tiny problem with any of our listings can really keep any item from reaching its potential! If you want to put those nitpicking skills to good use, then our Marketing Team is excited to meet you. (Bonus points for each error that you can find in that first paragraph.)

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Project management skills – ability to detail out a plan and execute on a deadline
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities and procedures while working on multiple platforms
  • Proficiency in Excel – Ability to gather and piece data from multiple sources into templates to upload to marketplaces.
  • Able to use Excel to summarize large datasets and analyze results
  • Strong organizational and team collaboration skills
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and at times extended periods to support business operations. Must be able to work extended periods during the month of October.

Nice To Haves

  • BA or BS in Marketing, Business Management, and/or equivalent experience in related field

Responsibilities

  • Manage and fix inventory for online marketplaces (i.e. Amazon, eBay, etc.)
  • Interpret product errors and find solutions to improve future product data quality
  • Assist Marketplace Specialists in performing routine maintenance tasks that help optimize individual listings on marketplaces
  • Research best practices, rules, and guidelines for multiple marketplaces and apply knowledge to listings
  • Routinely audit general health of marketplaces, and recognize areas of improvement
  • Execute on tasks and projects created by marketplace specialists
  • Work with other departments to solve any immediate issues
  • Gather and report sales and profitability data. Interpret results and prioritize tasks
