Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Thrive in a team environment while having the ability to work independently and demonstrating flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions.
  • Computer knowledge and skill level, basic POS systems, and Excel.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes (10-35lbs) as necessary to operate, which entails lifting, and perform all functions as set forth above.
  • Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  • None required.

Responsibilities

  • Fulfill guests’ needs quickly and efficiently.
  • Live out 452 Hospitality by delivering warm, welcoming, and memorable experiences for every guest and client.
  • Inform retail leadership in a timely manner when item quantities are low or special requests. Working with the warehouse team to pull & fill items as necessary.
  • Relay relevant comments received from customers directly to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures.
  • Check and stock supplies in the counter area, floor display, floor stands, and cabinets neatly, accurately, and in a timely fashion.
  • Clean tables, chairs, and equipment as needed.
  • Keep the counter and floor in the work or service area clean and free of debris.
  • Maintain the balanced cash drawer as assigned.
  • Perform other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
  • Merchandise product to maximize sales.
  • Increase sales by using promotional items or suggestive selling.
  • Supports the unit in being an example for the Company & Client guidelines about Sustainability/Conservation efforts. Displays knowledge of efforts in business application as well as giving adequate opportunity for teaching to unit staff as necessary.
  • Supports SSA / Unit in driving community effort through hiring efforts, engagement activities, and focus on opportunities of giving back.
  • Perform other tasks as deemed necessary.
  • Prepare and serve a full range of coffee and espresso drinks with consistency and quality standards.
  • Assemble and stock grab-and-go coolers and merchandise food counters.
  • Assist with bussing tables and discarding trash.
  • Produces and executes all culinary offerings from salads and sandwiches, along with operating the TurboChef oven to heat and finish flatbreads and other quick-serve menu items.
  • Maintain a clean, organized café space while following food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Colorado: Employees accrue 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year, under the Healthy Families and Workplaces Act (HFWA). Maryland: Employees accrue at least 1 hour of paid sick and safe leave for every 30 hours worked, up to 40 hours per year, as required under the Maryland Healthy Working Families Act. Washington: Employees accrue 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 40 hours worked, in accordance with the Seattle Paid Sick and Safe Time.
