Games is seeking an Associate Manager, Social Media located in Burbank, CA to support our Social Media team across multiple video game titles. Ideal candidates are passionate about gaming culture, modern communication formats, and building community through engaging, platform‑relevant content. They should be highly collaborative, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working across multiple teams, agencies, and creative partners. Strong communication skills, familiarity with emerging social trends, and the ability to adapt in a fast‑paced environment are essential.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management within gaming or entertainment.
  • Familiarity with content creation and production workflows, including short‑form video, social asset creation, and cross‑platform publishing.
  • Strong understanding of brand communications, social platforms, gaming culture, and digital community ecosystems.
  • Experience collaborating across multiple departments and with external partners, including creative agencies and development studios.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience tracking social KPIs, interpreting insights, and optimizing content performance.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Self‑motivation, initiative, excellent time management, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with tools such as Meltwater, Sprout Social, Airtable, Asana, etc., a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of social media strategy and long‑term programming calendars for assigned game titles driven by the Social Media Senior Managers.
  • Assist with building integrated social media campaigns, including content planning, audience insights, key messaging, and cross‑platform execution.
  • Partner closely with internal game studio teams, brand marketing, communications, creative, and external agencies to develop channel strategies, manage content calendars, and coordinate campaign rollouts.
  • Help plan, schedule, and publish content across social platforms, including short‑form video, social graphics, clips, and community‑driven formats.
  • Consolidate and report on global community trends, sentiment, and feedback, providing actionable insights to internal partners and game studios.
  • Work closely with agencies on asset delivery, creative production timelines, and global marketing initiatives.
  • Stay current on platform updates, best practices, algorithm shifts, and new creative tools to continually elevate social content quality and performance.
