As Associate Manager, Project Management, you’ll be accountable for ensuring the continuity of operations and projects that support the design, development, and delivery of global initiatives related to CFA Institute’s credentials and certificates. You’ll manage processes, activities, budgets, and third-party relationships tied to both new and ongoing products, while contributing to the multi-year product strategy for the Education Division. Working across multiple workgroups, you’ll collaborate with colleagues at all levels and engage with senior industry practitioners and educators worldwide.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on project management experience delivering multi-year or complex initiatives.
  • Experience within EdTech, publishing, online learning, or professional education product development.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and accountability.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills; confident communicating across all levels of seniority.
  • Analytical, adaptable, and detail-oriented, with sound judgement in dynamic or ambiguous environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Jira and Confluence is desirable.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with multi-year projects, platform transitions, software implementations, or training programme delivery is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as project manager for global initiatives supporting CFA Institute’s credentials and certificates, ensuring effective planning, administration, and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, identify milestones, and track and assign clear action items and exceptions.
  • Act as the main point of contact for project-related communications, coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and other third parties.
  • Support the development and monitoring of project budgets, track variances, and take timely corrective actions.
  • Coordinate long-range planning and forecasting for assigned certificates and credentials.
  • Oversee workflows and tasks for contingent workers, vendors, and other external contributors.
  • Maintain high-quality documentation, reporting, and stakeholder updates to ensure transparency and accountability.
