At Wizards of the Coast, we connect people around the world through play and imagination. From our genre-defining games like Magic: The Gathering® and Dungeons & Dragons® to our growing multiverse, we continue to innovate and build new ways to foster friendship and connection. That’s where you come in! Are you a process-driven, detail-oriented product development professional with a passion for Magic: The Gathering? Would you be thrilled to help expand this iconic brand into new channels, formats, and audiences? We’re looking for a confident and resourceful Associate Manager (Contract) to guide art assets, information, and partner feedback through our creative development pipeline. From concept to final approval, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving success across publishing, promotions, and consumer products. As part of the Emerging Business team, you’ll collaborate with external licensees, internal team members, and fellow creatives and strategists. Your responsibilities will include curating and distributing visual references, delivering thoughtful feedback, and continuously improving resource organization to keep projects moving seamlessly. This is an on-site role at our office in Renton, WA. You will be required to be at the office from Tuesday to Thursday. What You'll Do This role ensures that each project is set up for success from the very start, working with partners to define targets and equipping them with critical assets and direction. The bulk of your time will be spent leading the product development process from conceptual designs through approvals. All manner of licensed products, promotions and entertainment projects will be impacted by this role. Hardlines, softlines, packaging, publishing, marketing collateral, are all examples. Just as importantly, you will act as a steward of the creative translation of Magic across these efforts, ensuring appropriate visual consistency, integrity, design, and quality. To that end, you'll use your keen judgment and deep knowledge to balance Franchise direction with the unique needs of each new project. Aside from the critical path responsibilities of project trafficking, feedback, and approvals, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to update and ever-improve the resources and tools that Wizards relies on for scalability. We seek a partner who is passionate in their desire to make resources more organized, intuitive, and accessible than they were the week before. Everything from tagging assets to contributing as a thought leader for entire systems and processes are in bounds for this role!
