About the Role: The Associate Manager, Global Brand Marketing (Styling) is a highly organized, agile, and proactive professional responsible for supporting the Senior Manager in the daily execution and operational health of the Styling category. This role acts as a critical tactical partner across the full product lifecycle, ensuring that both New Product Developments (NPD) and the Core "Hero" portfolio are supported with excellence. The ideal candidate is an "organizational powerhouse" who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can seamlessly manage cross-functional workflows to ensure the category remains a leader in high-performance hair care.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of brand marketing experience, preferably within a high-growth beauty or CPG environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with proven experience managing complex timelines, budgets, and digital asset libraries
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable "managing up" to ensure project clarity and momentum
  • Strong presentation and writing skills, with the ability to translate technical science into a clear, professional-grade narrative
  • A flexible team player who maintains high standards of accountability and a "no task too small" mindset

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Support: Partner with the Senior Manager and the Innovation/R&D teams to support the development of the NPD pipeline, providing input on positioning, naming, and core messaging to ensure products are market-ready
  • Core Portfolio & Routine Optimization: Drive the ongoing maintenance and optimization of the Core Styling portfolio; identify opportunities to refresh messaging, drive routine-building, and sustain the health of hero franchises through "always-on" animation
  • Claims Collaboration: Partner with the R&D, Innovation & Legal teams to identify and prioritize preferred marketing claims for both new launches and core optimizations that align with category messaging and competitive white space
  • Creative Briefing: Author marketing and creative briefs for styling-related NPD and core re-supports; provide strategic marketing feedback on packaging artwork to ensure alignment with brand voice and positioning
  • 360° Execution: Support the Senior Manager in the rollout of global Go-To-Market strategies for NPD and core animations, ensuring cohesive storytelling across all digital and physical touchpoints
  • Trade, Sales & Education Partnership: Partner with Trade Marketing, Sales, and Education teams to support channel-specific needs; provide the necessary language, messaging, and strategic input for sell-in decks, educational materials, and visual merchandising requirements
  • Global Toolkit Management: Lead the end-to-end organization and global delivery of marketing toolkits, ensuring all regions have the localized assets necessary for flawless execution
  • Content & Production: Partner with the Creative & Creative Ops team to support content production needs, including on-set coordination and product management for styling-focused shoots
  • Market Landscape: Regularly monitor styling category performance, category health, and consumer sentiment to identify optimization opportunities for "hero" products
  • Competitive Intelligence: Lead competitive research and trend analysis within the styling landscape to inform future strategy or NPD launch
  • Performance Reporting: Assist in the development of campaign "post-mortems," gathering and synthesizing data to help the Senior Manager inform future category strategy and optimizations
  • Project Hub & Timeline Partnership: Partner closely with Marketing Operations to ensure all marketing deliverables stay on track; proactively manage dependencies and flag risks to the Senior Manager to ensure project momentum
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Lead status meetings and maintain master marketing trackers to ensure eComm, Social, and Consumer Engagement teams are aligned on category priorities
  • Financial Administration: Independently manage the invoicing process and budget tracking for the styling category, ensuring all vendor relations and project spends are meticulously documented and processed
  • Agile Support: Provide proactive, "hands-on" support to the Senior Manager on ad-hoc projects, internal leadership reviews, and category presentations
