About The Position

We're looking for an Associate Manager, Communications - Americas who will assist with the planning and implementation of Communications & PR strategy across all DECIEM Brands. This is a hybrid role (3 days in office) based out of our Flatiron, New York City office.

Requirements

Strong understanding of the beauty industry and consumer sentiment with extensive branding knowledge as related to other industries such as fashion, lifestyle etc.
Strong, proven established US press contacts; Canadian press contacts a plus
Experience supporting compelling communications campaigns
Experience with organizing and executing press events, ideally with established relationships with US based vendors
Solid organizational and time management skills, detail oriented and ability to focus and work efficiently in a demanding, fast-paced team environment. Excellent interpersonal, communication skills both written and oral and ability to work with all levels of staff and management

Responsibilities

Contribute to the creation and writing of press and Communications materials
Secure coverage for existing DECIEM Brands, driving excitement and visibility for new Brand launches
Manage and oversee new product launch mailings for press + influencers, including the curation of press materials for the announcement of brand campaigns and initiatives
Responsible for the ownership of DECIEM's overarching influencer database, consistently vetting new contacts and fostering key relationships with influencers across business, fashion, beauty, wellness and lifestyle
Strategize and conceptualize inspiring product seedings for influencers, brand partners + retailer affiliates
Work closely with the Director, Communications and Senior Manager, Communications to develop, support and maintain integrated tools and processes with social media, PR, brand teams
Create strong social and press dialog to elevate the brand on DECIEM's behalf
Develop creative ideation on how to communicate DECIEM's brand & values in new, authentic ways, integrating influencers, brand builders + press for 360 storytelling
Manage and execute the digital communications roadmap to facilitate educational social conversation and talkability
Facilitate online + offline events for both DECIEM + the retail partners
