About The Position

Are you early in your IT career and ready to grow your technical skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment? As an Associate IT Administrator I, you’ll be the first line of support for our internal teams — helping troubleshoot technical issues, set up devices, and ensure our employees have the tools they need to succeed. This is a hands-on, entry-level role designed for someone eager to learn, build foundational system administration skills, and grow within IT. You’ll gain exposure to cloud-based systems, device management, security best practices, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of office automation tools and computer peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools
  • Exposure to cloud-based systems and modern IT environments
  • Ability and desire to grow technical and product knowledge
  • Foundational understanding of Windows and macOS environments
  • Familiarity with code hosting platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket (novice level acceptable)

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Information Technology or related field
  • 1+ year of experience supporting Windows, Linux, or macOS environments

Responsibilities

  • Respond to user tickets involving hardware, software, and networking issues
  • Walk internal users through installing applications, peripherals, and connecting to production environments
  • Diagnose issues by asking targeted questions and guiding users step-by-step
  • Perform remote troubleshooting and test alternative solutions
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT team members when needed
  • Configure and customize desktop applications to meet user needs
  • Follow up to ensure systems are fully functional after resolution
  • Maintain and improve internal documentation and knowledge base articles
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve team communication
  • Support secure and optimized performance across Windows and macOS environments
