Corteva Agriscience is seeking an Associate Investigator . The Analytical R&D Team within Corteva Agriscience’s Crop Protection Discovery and Development organization is seeking an Analytical Technician to join our team. The Candidate will assist in and perform analytical studies that enable the development and validation of analytical methods registration of new and existing active ingredients and agricultural products. This position is located in Indianapolis, IN .

Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.

• Two years’ relevant work experience with analytical chemistry techniques
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, and customer focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Analytical Separations Subject Matter Experts and analytical team members to plan and to efficiently perform experiments and communicate results according to required timelines.
• Learn and operate analytical instrumentations for sample analysis e.g. HPLC, GC, LC/GC/MS etc.
• Routine maintenance of instruments and troubleshoot instrument issues.
• Perform analytical studies of various types of materials in support of registration and production of active ingredients and formulated crop protection products.
• Ensure that all data are being generated and documented in a manner consistent with best practices, and study protocols.
• Process and interpret quality of analytical data.
• Troubleshoot and implement analytical solutions for experimental challenges as needed to ensure study requirements are met.
• Support daily operations of the analytical laboratories by maintaining the instrumentation and lab areas.
• Meet all the Corteva EHS&S compliance needs and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety.
