About The Position

Under close supervision, the Associate Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) Technician provides entry-level repair, calibration, and preventive maintenance of medical equipment and instrumentation used in the healthcare delivery field. This role focuses on developing technical proficiency while ensuring the safety and reliability of patient care technologies through rigorous adherence to manufacturer and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, completion of Department of Defense (DoD) biomedical technician training, or current enrollment in an accredited HTM/Biomedical program with a clear path to graduation required.
  • Familiarity with electromechanical devices and basic electronic circuitry.
  • Basic understanding of troubleshooting logic and the use of electronic test equipment.
  • Awareness of IT networking basics as they relate to medical device connectivity.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and written instructions.
  • Proficiency in mathematical concepts including fractions, percentages, and ratios applied to practical calibration scenarios.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to maintain professional relationships with clinical staff.
  • Must meet all DMV requirements listed below.

Nice To Haves

  • ACI Certified Associate in Biomedical Technology (CABT) preferred.
