We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Associate to join our Fund Administration team. This role is located in Boston, MA (4 days per week in office expectation). In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Perform a variety of fund administration activities for funds with more intricate portfolio assets and transactions, including expense allocation, budgeting, cash allocation, analysis of fund metrics, and compliance. Calculate daily fund position and cash reconciliations for moderately complex funds and assist in resolving escalated discrepancies. Report and analyze fund revenues, expenses, profitability, and other key metrics. Work extensively with clients to communicate fund expense and performance information regarding moderately complex funds and answer questions about funds. Review fund data and monitor compliance with all regulatory, BNY Mellon, and client specifications. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to provide requested information of greater complexity. Compile and analyze fund performance data for inclusion in Board of Directors report materials. Review fund expense budgeting conducted by support staff. Provide guidance to less experienced team members as needed and contribute to the achievement of team objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of total work experience preferred.
  • Experience in accounting or fund administration preferred.
  • No direct people leadership responsibilities.
