The State Corporation Commission (SCC) seeks an Associate Financial Licensing Analyst who has a passion for public service and protecting the public interest in Virginia by maintaining a safe, sound, and competitive financial services environment. The Bureau of Financial Institutions (BFI) is a regulatory division within the SCC that administers the Commonwealths laws related to banks, savings institutions, credit unions, trust companies, consumer finance companies, mortgage lenders and brokers, money transmitters, credit counseling agencies, motor vehicle title lenders, industrial loan associations, short-term lenders, check cashers, student loan servicers, and debt settlement services providers. The Associate Financial Licensing Analyst assists with the investigation of applications filed by these financial institutions and related parties under Title 6.2 of the Code of Virginia for licenses, expansions, and structural changes such as mergers and acquisitions. This position is based in Richmond, Virginia and operates on a hybrid schedule, including remote and in-office work each week.
