Why this role matters: Opportunity to shape and deliver HR strategy across the U.S. and Global R&D organizations High-visibility role with exposure to senior and executive leadership Culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement The Role The Associate Director, HR Projects & Planning (U.S. & R&D HR) is a strategic and results-driven leader responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex HR initiatives supporting Galderma’s U.S. business and global R&D organization. This role partners closely with U.S. and R&D HR Business Partners, HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), and cross-functional stakeholders (IT, Finance, Legal, Operations) to ensure disciplined execution, strong governance, and measurable business impact. Over time, this role will build and lead a high-performing HR Project Management capability , embedding best-in-class PMO practices across the U.S. and R&D HR landscape while remaining tightly aligned with global HR priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or other related field highly desired.
  • 10+ years of experience leading global, enterprise-scale projects or programs , ideally within: HR PMO environments Organizational or R&D transformation M&A employee integration Complex, matrixed organizations
  • Deep expertise in program governance, portfolio management, and project management methodologies .
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and operating models, ideally including R&D or scientific organizations.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive presence.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Systems & Tools Experience with Workday , ServiceNow , and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong proficiency with project management and reporting tools.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP certification (preferred, not required).
  • Experience working within HR Business Partner and COE models.
  • Exposure to fast-paced, growth-oriented, or transformation-driven environments
