About The Position

The Associate Director, Talent Planning & Development partners closely with the Director, Talent Planning & Development to design, deliver, and manage enterprise learning and talent processes. This is a highly hands-on role that blends program facilitation, process management, and operational execution. The Associate Director serves as a key facilitator of leadership and employee development programs, manages the execution of performance management and succession planning cycles, and ensures career development initiatives are delivered effectively. This role works cross-functionally with leaders, employees, and HR colleagues to ensure talent initiatives have impact and fully align with organization priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business, or related field
  • 6-8 years of experience in learning, talent management, and/or organizational development; experience in the pharmaceutical industry a plus
  • Strong facilitation skills with proven ability to engage audiences at multiple levels
  • Experience managing enterprise processes such as performance management or succession planning
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; able to juggle multiple programs simultaneously
  • Must have experience with learning systems and reporting tools

Responsibilities

  • Design and facilitate workshops for leaders, managers, and individual contributors.
  • Partner with Director to manage the performance management cycle, providing training, communications, and adoption support.
  • Manage the execution of talent review and succession planning processes, ensuring effective preparation, facilitation, and follow-up.
  • Support the design and launch of career development programs and learning tracks.
  • Partner with the Senior Associate to ensure smooth learning operations, including scheduling, materials, and reporting.
  • Serve as a point of contact for leaders and HRBPs to provide guidance on development opportunities and processes.
  • Analyze program data and feedback to assess effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Manage vendor and external facilitator relationships to extend program offerings.
  • Stay up to date on learning and talent trends to bring fresh ideas and practical solutions.
  • Supports the ongoing enhancement of Xeris’ talent planning and development platforms (LMS, Lattice, etc.) to further program adoption, organization learning, and technology ROI
  • Perform other duties and ad hoc projects as needed
