About The Position

This position is responsible for the creation and implementation the talent management infrastructure, framework and strategies to support the organization. This requires involvement in the assessment and development of employees through the execution of initiatives and programs. This role is responsible to identify, recommend, and execute opportunities to improve and align supporting systems. This position is responsible for the design of program initiatives and to establish an integrated approach to talent development throughout the company.

Requirements

  • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and sixteen (16) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to twenty (20) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree or global equivalent in Organizational Development, Organizational Learning and Development, Psychology, HR, Business, or related field
  • Experience with needs analysis, designing, building and delivering training programs to a wide variety of audiences
  • Knowledgeable of and ability to apply theories and concepts of organizational development and adult learning and development including the use of technology
  • Ability to develop and maintain solid, effective relationships with internal and external customers
  • Knowledge of technologies used in the delivery of training
  • Intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, and electronic presentations programs
  • Ability to function independently with strong decision making, critical thinking, and problem solving skills

Responsibilities

  • May manage complex teams, groups, and projects at an operations center or project site
  • Maintain a close working relationship with operational management to confirm and address that services are properly executed and the needs of the company are met
  • Direct training and/or organizational development functions across multiple cost centers, regions, or business/functional groups
  • Consult to and collaborate with business and operations leaders to develop and execute an integrated approach to development, learning and talent management at a corporate, office, or project level
  • Accountable for budgetary responsibility for assigned organization and/or projects
  • Establish and enhance strategic partnerships throughout the Company and support operations and projects by conducting alignment sessions, conflict resolution, and facilitated interventions
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Consult and coach employees, management and leaders in all areas related to Talent Development
  • Facilitate project alignment meetings, business strategy meetings, corporate university and other talent development/learning programs
  • Make continued efforts to stay current on issues, theories, technology, and practices pertaining to a respective discipline or area of expertise
  • Participate in professional associations, meetings, and conferences
  • Serve as a mentor to subordinate and other staff to promote professional development in the field of training and employee development
