The Talent Management team at Pratt & Whitney focuses on attracting, developing, and retaining top global talent, aiming to provide an exceptional employee experience and align talent strategies with organizational goals. This remote Associate Director, Talent Management/Talent Partner, Group Functions will be crucial in supporting Group Functions (including Legal, Contracts and Compliance, Product Strategy, Chief Digital Office, Finance, and the Transformation Management Office) by developing and executing talent strategies, with a focus on succession planning, employee retention, and engagement. Talent Partners are customer-focused, collaborative, innovative, and driven, building relationships and acting as thought leaders on talent and organizational strategy. This role reports to the Director, Global Talent Management and involves partnering with Group Functions business and HR leaders, as well as other Communities of Expertise across P&W.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 12+ years of progressive HR experience in a combination of the following HR domains talent management, recruitment, employee relations, HR generalist, development and/or organizational design; OR an Advanced Degree and 10+ years of progressive HR experience in a combination of the following HR domains talent management, recruitment, employee relations, HR generalist, development and/or organizational design.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate (both written and verbal) with individuals at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience presenting complex information (including data and analysis) to senior leadership in a clear, concise, and impactful manner.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver talent processes aligned with Pratt & Whitney’s business and global talent strategies.
  • Work with Business Leaders and HR and Employee Partners to gain insight into short- and long-term business needs and current talent challenges.
  • Analyze and provide feedback/recommendations regarding talent challenges and information gained in meetings such as Talent Councils and HR staff meetings, and provide consultative support for future strategies and programs.
  • Partner with HR Communities of Expertise including Learning & Organizational Effectiveness, Total Rewards, Workforce Intelligence and Talent Acquisition on projects related to attracting and retaining talent, employee engagement and surveys, recognition, and employee well-being.
  • Actively advocate for internal talent advancement opportunities and promote talent advancement activities within the businesses, educating the organization where needed.
  • Run internal searches, prepare lists of potential internal candidates, and initiate discussions with leaders in Talent Councils and/or Talent Reviews.
  • Act as an internal talent ambassador and change agent to facilitate cross-organizational moves.
  • Support managers, HR and Employee Partners in identifying career and development activities for employees.
  • Contribute to the development and support the execution of advancement initiatives on a local level.
  • Share latest local trends; provide input and feedback to continuously improve processes & programs.
  • Lead 2 regional talent partners in Canada and Poland, providing direction, mentoring, and fostering their growth.
  • Provide clarity, structure, and vision while enabling innovation, execution excellence, and talent development within the team.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values.
