About the Role: The Associate Director, Retention Marketing & Subscriber Cohort Analysis leads and is the 'go to' for subscriber retention analysis, insights, forecasting, and budgeting across Dow Jones' B2C brands including WSJ, WSJ+, Barron's, and MarketWatch. As Associate Director, you will develop a detailed understanding of why subscribers are/are not renewing their subscriptions through daily/weekly/monthly analysis of all subscriber cohorts. With that, you will then communicate and integrate these learnings with the rest of the team, and the wider teams to develop and optimize the overall retention strategy. This role requires a candidate with experience in subscription strategy and renewals, retention and pricing journeys. The Associate Director will be required to forecast retention performance (retention rates, churn, LTV, etc.) across all subscriber cohorts. In addition, you will be responsible for building a holistic retention strategy across Dow Jones' B2C wealth and investing brands, products, and services which include Barron's and MarketWatch. Reporting to our Senior Director, Retention, you will lead subscriber cohort insights/analysis, forecasting/budgeting and wealth and investing retention strategy, and collaborate cross-functionally with the Acquisition, CRM, Customer Service, Data Science, Finance, Product, and Technology teams. One Manager, Retention will report to you. You will work in our midtown Manhattan office 3 days every week.
