Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. is recruiting for an Associate Director, Pricing Strategy, Autoantibody within the Strategic Customer Group (SCG). This position will be based in Horsham, PA or Titusville, NJ and will play a critical role in shaping, executing, and evolving U.S. pricing and contracting strategy for a novel FcRn inhibitor that is commercially launched and expected to expand into additional indications over time. Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine The Strategic Customer Group (SCG) is responsible for the development and execution of strategies that ensure optimal access and reimbursement across the Johnson & Johnson portfolio. Key stakeholders include U.S. health plans, health systems, hospital and community physician practices, group purchasing organizations, and distribution intermediaries. The Associate Director, Pricing Strategy is a highly visible and strategically critical role responsible for owning and evolving U.S. pricing and contracting strategy for an FcRn inhibitor across inline and future indications. The role requires balancing near‑term commercial execution with long‑term franchise strategy, ensuring pricing decisions support access, competitive positioning, and sustainable value as the asset matures. This individual will operate at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and execution, with direct accountability for managing existing commercial contracts, responding to changing competitive dynamics, and shaping pricing architecture as the portfolio expands. The role may also contribute selectively to cross‑portfolio pricing initiatives as the Autoantibody franchise evolves.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related analytical discipline required
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Experience in pricing, market access, contracting, finance, analytics, RWV&E, or business development strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding of U.S. reimbursement and payment models, customer structures, and access pathways
  • Ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders without direct authority
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and executive‑level communication skills
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear strategic recommendations
  • Position based in Horsham, PA or Titusville, NJ with up to 10% travel

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, approval, and execution of U.S. pricing and contracting strategy across inline and pipeline indications, ensuring alignment with brand strategy, access objectives, and long‑term franchise value.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to Senior Brand Leadership, SCG Leadership, Finance, Legal, Healthcare Compliance (HCC), Market Access Marketing, and Field Account Teams to establish compliant, executable pricing and contracting policies.
  • Lead channel‑specific pricing and contracting strategies across payer, provider, and site‑of‑care pathways, tailoring approaches by stakeholder and indication.
  • Own list price strategy, confidential discount structures, and value‑based concepts, informed by customer, industry, and competitive insights.
  • Manage and evolve existing commercial contracts, proactively assessing performance and optimization opportunities in response to utilization trends, competitive actions, and policy changes.
  • Serve as the pricing strategy lead supporting customer contract negotiations, in close partnership with Contracting and Account Management.
  • Lead external market research and analytics to inform pricing decisions, including value perception, scenario modeling, and indication sequencing considerations.
  • Ensure strong understanding and communication of gross‑to‑net dynamics, collaborating cross‑functionally to model access scenarios and assess impact on patient access, revenues, and long‑term portfolio performance.
  • Develop and maintain pricing and contracting dashboards to track strategy execution, business impact, and marketplace evolution.
  • Monitor policy, reimbursement, and healthcare system changes and adjust pricing strategies accordingly to protect access and optimize business outcomes.
