About The Position

Jarrett Logistics is a third-party logistics company headquartered in Orrville, Ohio. Our clients come from a variety of industries (such as automotive, food, and aerospace – just to name a few) but the common denominator is that they ship something. We’re here to coordinate the process between our clients (mostly large manufacturing companies or suppliers) and carriers. To accomplish all of this, our team not only set up shipments for our clients, but they troubleshoot, answer questions, and fix issues before they become larger problems. Here at Jarrett, we are problem-solvers and our goal is to do great things for our clients every day. The Associate Director of Sales reports directly to the Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, responsible for building, coaching, and driving the performance of a top-of-funnel business development team. Requirements

  • You have a proven track record of developing new clients by picking up the phone and cold-calling
  • You’ve sold multiple-year contractual solutions
  • You’re comfortable inspecting call recordings and giving direct feedback
  • You believe prospecting is the lifeblood of sales
  • You are organized and can roll out a prospecting program
  • You are disciplined about metrics, standards, and follow-through
  • You’ve managed both high performers and underperformers—and know the difference

Responsibilities

  • Setting clear, measurable sales targets aligned with company growth objectives
  • Establish and enforce prospecting standards while monitoring pipeline quality
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing feedback, and coaching for career growth
  • Collaborate with marketing to sharpen targeting and messaging
