About The Position

Associate Director of Pharmacy & Laboratory Services - Farmington Community Health Center VytlOne (formerly know as Maxor National Pharmacy Services) is seeking a compassionate, customer service-oriented Associate Director of Pharmacy & Laboratory Services for a community healthcare center based retail pharmacy located in Farmington, NM. In this integrated model, the Pharmacy Manager will work closely with providers and clinic staff collaboratively, providing team-based medicine with a strong pharmacy component to provide optimal care for patients. Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Current/Clear New Mexico Pharmacist license
  • Minimum of 3 years of retail and/or clinic-based pharmacy management experience
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary team
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Prior knowledge of local, state, and federal accrediting body and OSHA rules and regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Regional Director of Pharmacy and or the Executive VP of Operations ensure the pharmacy provides optimal service, meets legal and accreditation/certification requirements, and complies with all policies and standards of Maxor National Pharmacy Services Corporation.
  • Maintain daily operation of pharmacy department by supervising pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in the routine performance of their duties.
  • Provide appropriate technical and customer service training for pharmacy staff.
  • Review and update established drug-therapy guidelines and other policies and procedures, in conjunction with the Regional Manager and/or the Executive VP of Operations, for use by physicians, nurses, and pharmacists.
  • Provide drug information to meet the needs of physicians and nurses through direct contact or in-service programs.
  • Prepare various reports and maintain records or supervise the maintenance of records as required or requested by the Regional Manager and/or the Executive VP of Operations.
  • Maintain current knowledge of drug therapies and drug reactions and interactions by reading professional literature, attending seminars and utilizing professional affiliations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
