About The Position

We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Associate Director of Operations & Logistics to lead and optimize our end-to-end supply chain. This role will drive operational excellence, foster key partnerships, and ensure our logistics capabilities effectively support business growth across all channels.

Requirements

  • Must have strong experience with overseeing daily warehouse operations, tracking KPIs, and working closely with warehouse teams, from floor managers to 3PL leadership
  • Must have strong Excel, NetSuite, and G-Suite skills
  • Ability to influence internal and external partners with a positive attitude
  • Distill and articulate complex data in a clear way that can drive business decisions
  • Multitask and work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience at a growth-oriented eCommerce retailer is strongly preferred
  • Experience with omnichannel operations is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Strategically lead and manage all 3PL operations, defining key performance indicators and ensuring on-time delivery and fulfillment excellence for eCommerce, retail, and wholesale channels.
  • Develop and implement inventory optimization strategies across all locations, collaborating with Planning to ensure product availability and minimize discrepancies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives with external logistics partners, parcel carriers, and 3PLs to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Serve as the Operations & Logistics lead for new company initiatives (e.g., retail, wholesale, international expansion), spearheading the design and implementation of supporting systems and processes.
  • Champion the enablement of wholesale and drop-ship fulfillment through 3PLs by designing scalable workflows and SOPs tailored to retailer requirements while optimizing cost and efficiency.
  • Foster strong cross-functional partnerships with Marketing, Finance, Planning, and Customer Experience to align operations with overarching business objectives and proactively address emerging challenges.
  • Lead the vetting and negotiation process for new vendors, business systems, and major contracts, including parcel carriers and packaging suppliers, to secure optimal terms and service levels and meet or exceed KPIs.
  • Oversee and strategically manage the company’s donation program, cultivating relationships with partner organizations to align with company values and business goals.
  • Direct strategies for Amazon FBA fulfillment and manage compliance for duty drawback/deferral programs, ensuring efficient inventory flow and adherence to regulatory requirements.
