About The Position

St. Benedict at Auburndale Catholic High School seeks a dynamic, mission-driven leader for the 2026-27 school year beginning July 1st, to serve in a dual capacity as Associate Director of Enrollment Management and Curriculum Director. This unique position combines strategic enrollment leadership (60%) with academic program oversight (40%), requiring a professional who can seamlessly navigate both the recruitment pipeline and the instructional landscape of a thriving Catholic high school. Reporting to the Principal, this individual will drive enrollment growth while ensuring curricular excellence rooted in Catholic identity and academic rigor. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable leading an Open House as they are facilitating a faculty workshop on instructional best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in admissions, enrollment management, or recruitment within an independent or Catholic school setting.
  • Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, instructional leadership, or academic program coordination.
  • Practicing Catholic in good standing with a genuine commitment to the mission of Catholic education and the teachings of the Church.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Ravenna, Blackbaud, Slate), student information systems (e.g., PowerSchool), and educational technology tools.
  • Strong public speaking, interpersonal communication, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness and flexibility to work evenings and weekends for recruitment events and school functions.

Nice To Haves

  • Terminal degree (Ed.D. or Ph.D.) in Educational Leadership or a related field.
  • Experience with STREAM initiatives or Catholic education models.
  • Familiarity with ARK data analysis and accreditation processes (e.g., Lumen, COGNIA).
  • Prior experience in a Catholic school environment with knowledge of diocesan structures and expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Admissions Cycle Management: Guide prospective families through the complete admissions funnel; from initial inquiry through enrollment, including conducting campus tours, family interviews, and placement exam coordination.
  • Recruitment & Outreach: Build and maintain strategic relationships with local Catholic parishes, feeder schools, and community organizations to expand the school’s recruitment reach and brand awareness.
  • Event Planning & Execution: Plan and execute high-impact enrollment events including Open Houses, Shadow Days, Placement Exams, and New Family Orientations.
  • Data & Systems Administration: Manage the school’s Admissions CRM (e.g., Finalsite Ravenna, Blackbaud, or Slate) to track applicant data, analyze enrollment trends, and generate status reports for administration.
  • Financial Aid Coordination: Assist families with the tuition assistance process and collaborate with the finance office on enrollment contracts and scholarship distribution.
  • Retention Initiatives: Partner with faculty and administration to identify at-risk students and implement proactive strategies that support re-enrollment and family satisfaction.
  • Curriculum Development & Mapping: Lead the design, revision, and alignment of curricula across all disciplines, ensuring both vertical and horizontal coherence with state standards and Catholic educational frameworks.
  • Catholic Identity Integration: Ensure that Catholic faith, virtues, and social teaching are meaningfully integrated across all subject areas.
  • Instructional Coaching: Conduct regular classroom observations and provide teachers with constructive, actionable feedback to elevate instructional quality.
  • Data-Driven Improvement: Analyze standardized testing data (e.g., NWEA MAP) and internal assessments to identify learning gaps and guide instructional adjustments.
  • Professional Development: Plan and facilitate professional development workshops to keep faculty current on educational research, technology integration, and pedagogical innovation.
  • Accreditation & Compliance: Support the school through accreditation processes and ensure compliance with diocesan and state department of education standards.
  • Advanced Programs Oversight: Oversee advanced academic offerings, including Honors, Advanced Placement (AP), and dual enrollment programs.
