About The Position

To accelerate our growth, we are looking for a strategic, proactive, and well-organized leader to drive new thinking and deliver truly innovative work. Reporting to the SVP, this role will help lead the development of pitch presentations, materials, and communications to drive new and organic business growth to deliver on our aggressive goals. We're looking for an ambitious individual to fill this role, someone who isn't afraid to share their ideas and opinions within a supportive and collaborative work environment. Embedded within the PM Business Development & Growth team, the Associate Director, Growth will help manage new business pitches. This is a fast-paced job that will require everything from assembling written responses to inbound queries to developing and executing pitch theater to managing internal systems and processes. This role is a career accelerator with high levels of exposure to senior management across Publicis Media.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a client-facing role at an agency; business development experience strongly preferred
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Expert in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Experience with project management and/or managing deliverables for internal projects

Responsibilities

  • Executive-leadership facing
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the media landscape and continuously pursue professional development
  • Manage projects and time effectively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all outputs
  • Lead and organize pitch teams in RFI/RFP development; chase and edit responses, prepare pitch presentations, and support development of the pitch narrative
  • Actively participate in presentation rehearsals by preparing presenters, ensuring key message points are hit, and ensuring the pitch "story" is clear, concise, and strategic
  • Manage and motivate the pitch team while guiding and enabling pitch timelines, checkpoints, accountabilities, deliverables, design, production, and travel needs
  • Collaborate and lead communications with local, regional, and global teammates, stakeholders, departments, and agencies
  • Build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships, promote teamwork, and support colleagues to enable their success across diverse teams
  • Identify new ways to drive innovation and efficiency within the pitch process and amongst the Growth team
  • Seek opportunities and propose alternative solutions, exhibiting intellectual curiosity to solve challenges
  • Continuously pursue professional development through trainings
