About The Position

The Global Finance Operations Associate Director will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing key global financial processes within our media agency. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a strong background in finance operations, specifically within the media industry. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and effective communication across global markets and teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Global Operations or Global Finance roles within a media agency.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience managing cross-functional and cross-market teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with centralized PO management and global billing processes.
  • Knowledge of international tax regulations and FX rate management.
  • Proven track record in process improvement and reconciliation activities.

Responsibilities

  • Global PO Management: Lead and centralize the purchase order tracking and reconciliation process, ensuring consistency and compliance across all markets.
  • FX Rate Management: Oversee foreign exchange rate management to ensure accuracy in global financial transactions and reporting.
  • Tax Questions: Address and resolve tax-related queries, collaborating with market finance teams to ensure compliance with local and global tax regulations.
  • Fee Reporting: Manage rolled-up fee reporting, including retainer, commission, and (CPM) structures, to provide clear and comprehensive financial overviews.
  • Global Time/Burn Reporting: Oversee global time and burn reporting, focusing on the Zenith portions. Coordinate with relevant teams for reconciliations, while recognizing limitations in global time reconciliation responsibilities.
  • Support Global Billing Process: Facilitate the global billing process, working closely with market teams to ensure adherence to established procedures and timelines.
  • Process Compliance: Collaborate with markets to ensure current processes and timelines are being followed, identifying and implementing improvements as needed.
  • Cross-Team Communication: Act as a central point of contact, facilitating effective communication between market finance teams, market account teams, and the billing hub to streamline operations and resolve issues efficiently.
