The Role: The Financial Analyst supports the Executive Search Global Operations finance team, with primary responsibility for the Americas region and additional global support across Europe and Asia Pacific. This role is responsible for supporting financial reporting and reviewing financial data across all Executive Search legal entities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and meaningful insight. The Financial Analyst provides timely and actionable financial analysis to regional and global leadership and supports business operations through expense reporting, contract review, identification of efficiency opportunities, and month-end close activities. The role also assists in the preparation of presentations and materials for senior management. Reporting to the Americas Director, Executive Search, the position partners closely with the Global Finance Director and works in an advisory capacity with Executive Search leadership and operational teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Minimum two-three years’ experience in a large, multinational corporation/consulting firm
  • Must have advanced Excel and analytical skills, including Pivot tables and vlookup
  • Ability to deal appropriately with confidential information.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize multiple competing responsibilities.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in standardizing, automating and evolving firm-wide Financial Reporting.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation, independent thinking, and creative problem-solving while collaborating effectively as a team player.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong desire to understand business operations and enhance financial reporting processes.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and flexible hours as needed; ability to drive to results and meet strict deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize work with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with large data sets (with knowledge of PowerQuery).
  • Experience with PeopleSoft general ledger, Hyperion Enterprise, Workday, and Anaplan planning tool is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Support financial reporting for the Executive Search business across all legal entities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial results.
  • Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, including variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and prior periods.
  • Support month-end close activities for Executive Search Americas region and contribute to global consolidation and reporting processes.
  • Provide timely and actionable financial analysis to regional leadership to support business and operational decision-making.
  • Partner with business leaders to support operational finance needs, including expense reporting, contract review, and analysis of revenue and cost drivers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, and scalability across finance and operational processes.
  • Prepare and maintain standard management reporting, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses for regional and global stakeholders.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes for the Americas region and contribute to global planning initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with the Americas Director and Global Finance Director to support strategic initiatives and cross-regional projects.
  • Assist in Annual Budget process – preparation, review, and presentation of outputs.
  • Develop expertise in the Anaplan budgeting system.
  • Serve as a finance liaison to operational teams, translating financial data into clear, actionable insights
