About The Position

The AD of Field Ops Support is responsible for leading and coordinating key operational programs that drive alignment and execution across the plasma center network. This role oversees the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and/or any Integration Program coordination, ensuring successful planning, communication, and implementation across all GEO structures within Plasma Procurement.

  • Bachelor of Science, Business, Engineering or Project Management related field.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience in operations, business management, or project/program leadership. Project or technical leadership experience required. Supervisory or management experience preferred. Proven experience leading cross functional initiatives and managing large-scale operational programs.
  • Depending on the area of assignment, directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place of the stated requirements. Example: If a job level requires a Bachelor's degree plus 4 years experience, and equivalency could include 8 years of experience, an Associate's degree with 6 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining appropriate organizational environment and value system, which stimulates the morale including low turnover and productivity of the facilities.
  • Lead the development, execution, and governance of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for Plasma Procurement.
  • Translate enterprise priorities into actionable plans for field execution ensuring alignment with financial, operational, and compliance objectives.
  • Drive strategic readiness and execution for donor center transitions, including the temporary removal, re-entry, or realignment of centers within the GEO structure.
  • Provide tactical direction to the Field Ops Support Teams(s) to ensure the proper coordination and planning of activities are able to be executed on time, while maximizing production growth and quality profiles.
  • Monitor multiple projects and teams simultaneously and be able to recognize if issues or delays may occur.
  • Lead the development of a program that can remove administrative tasks from the field (i.e. centralizing or coordinating activities within the team that removes action from field personnel).
  • Partner with the Plasma Strategy Leadership and serve as a liaison between corporate functions and field leadership related to any center fleet movement or closure(s).
  • Develop & Mentor the Field Ops Support Team member(s) as your direct report to ensure high performance, accountability, and professional development. adequate personal and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with Business Unit Leadership to assure proper communication is provided on centers that will foreseeably be transitioned to their ownership.
  • Encourage and ensure open lines of communication with all core support departments related to AOP such as but not limited to: Purchasing, Finance, Quality, Regulatory and Compliance, Training, Testing Lab, Human Resources and Accounts Payable departments in order to satisfy company objectives.
  • Provide strategic direction and planning for centers acquired through Integrations that will maximize cultural and business alignment.
  • Monitor and evaluate operation of facilities with the Ops and Quality Leads to ensure that facilities are in full compliance with State and Federal Regulations, FDA approved Standard Operating Procedure Manual, EMA, OSHA, CLIA, cGMP, as well as all internal company procedures, in process controls; provide both written and verbal communications to the senior staff as needed on relevant business issues in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain a familiarity of State and Federal Regulations, FDA approved Standard Operating Procedure Manual, EMA, OSHA, CLIA, cGMP, internal company procedures, and stay informed of external events that could affect the organization and its future operations.
  • Must be able to multi-task to assure that all appropriate parties involved with new donor center construction, relocations, and remodels are working cohesively and that all time frames are completed. Work with all departments of the company to ensure that the division is successful.
  • Indirect supervision and responsibility for CMs and QSMs for Integration centers.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and oversee remote employees.
