About The Position

The Associate Director of PMO leads the cross functional projects and initiatives with the highest resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Projects include new construction, interior renovation/adaptive reuse, infrastructure, site work projects and includes laboratories, vivarium, office, amenity, conferencing and public space programs. A typical day in this role might look like: Work collaboratively and coordinate with various partners within REGN leadership and all overlapping functional areas within REGN ensuring that well rounded, complete and thoughtful consideration is given to all potential project team members including those that are impactful to the projects as well as the operational and logistical considerations needed once the project is built. Monitor all planning, programming, scoping, design and construction activities to ensure that all phases of work are done in accordance with corporate standards and contractual agreements that is compliant to schedule and budget requirements With expertise in project controls, establish and maintain a highly complex program / project budget, cash flow analyses, and cost estimates, as well as reviews purchase orders, change orders, and invoices with significant impact on the success of company operations Evaluate, develop and select standards, tools, and knowledge requirements for Facilities Project Management skills and career development. Provide guidance, direction, and instruction in Facilities Project Management to less-experienced team members and colleagues Develop evaluations of existing conditions of potential new locations for Regeneron projects, including projected project costs and schedules for renovations of those spaces for specific program needs. Identify and resolve unique situations of substantial significance, requiring conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions to complex problems with broad impact on the business; proficient in advanced techniques with relevant software; experience, knowledge, and a track record in project management techniques, concepts, principles, and standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management
  • Min 15 years in related field performing similar scope of work
  • Experience with financial cash flow and accrual forecasting and reporting
  • AutoCAD, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat Professional
  • Fluency in negotiating leases, contracts and all aspects capital project management

Nice To Haves

  • Licensed Registered Architect or Professional Engineer preferred.
