About The Position

Responsible for the financial affairs of a single school within the institution which includes budgeting, accounting, financial reporting and compliance with federal and state agencies. Establishes the schools strategic financial plan to support the growth, goals and mission of the school, and identifies, recommends and implements financial administrative practices.

Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration is required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares monthly reports for the Department Chairs and provides Chairs with recommendations on student enrollment, tuition and formula funding.
  • Prepares cost projections and analyzes and interprets financial data.
  • Ensures that the school complies with all applicable laws, regulations and policies of the institution as well as federal and state agencies.
  • Provides compliance reporting to federal and state agencies to include general compliance monitoring including healthcare compliance monitoring.
  • Establishes the school/department’s strategic financial plan to support the growth, goals and mission of the school, and identifies, recommends and implements financial administrative policies and procedures, including policy formulation, strategic planning, and day-to-day oversight of resource allocation processes.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
