#TeamAAM is looking for an Associate Controls Engineer to join our Driveline team in Three Rivers, Michigan. This is an off-shift, fully onsite role. Training will take place on the 1st shift before transitioning to the 3rd shift. The Associate Controls Engineer assists in the design, testing, installation, and maintenance of large-scale electronic equipment or machinery for use in manufacturing.   • Assists in evaluating control systems, products, components, and applications.
  • Assists in evaluating new manufacturing and control technologies, adapting into specifications as appropriate.
  • Confirms control system functionality, including appropriate safety compliance, by designing and/or executing test procedures.
  • Assists in the review of layout and electrical drawings; collaborates with related engineering teams to evaluate components, materials, and suppliers.
  • Ensures integrity of process and build data collection.
  • Provides information to manufacturing, process, and other engineering disciplines by answering questions and requests.
  • Keeps equipment operating by performing periodic audits; troubleshooting breakdowns; requesting supplies; defining and reviewing preventive maintenance plans; calling for repairs; and implementing process improvements.
  • Maintains project documents using approved methodology, tools, and templates.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ year(s) of relevant manufacturing experience.
  • Availability and willingness to adopt a flexible work schedule; this includes working any shift, overtime, and weekends as requested.
