About The Position

The Opportunity: This position will support U.S. commercial planning and performance through analysis, reporting, and structured support of brand and category initiatives. The role contributes to decision-making by providing insights on sales, pricing, and promotional performance, and supports execution of commercial plans in the U.S.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, Marketing or related field
  • Minimum 1 – 3+ years relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical rigor.

Responsibilities

  • Commercial Planning Support
  • Support AOP and A&P planning processes through data analysis, reporting, and input collation.
  • Assist in translating brand direction into market-level planning inputs.
  • Support U.S. retailer pitches in partnership with Sales and Trade Marketing by preparing materials and coordinating inputs.
  • Support product selection and assortment analysis in the U.S. by retailer channel, including tracking of exclusives.
  • Assist Sales teams with execution of retailer activation and customer-specific initiatives.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at supporting business performance in the U.S.
  • Pricing & Promotion Analysis
  • Conduct pricing analysis in line with global price architecture and established frameworks.
  • Analyze promotional performance and provide insights to support optimization.
  • Track and report on promotional activity and outcomes in the U.S.
  • Performance Reporting & Insights
  • Assist in the preparation of regular reporting on revenue, margin, and sell-through performance.
  • Prepare reporting and highlight variances against plans.
  • Analyze trends in the U.S. to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Assist in the compilation of insights on competition, retail, and consumer trends.
  • Assist in providing structured insights to support commercial decision-making and inputs to Global Brand Teams.
  • Execution Support & Coordination
  • Support execution of key brand events, assisting with coordination of timelines, deliverables, and materials.
  • Assist with localization of marketing plans across events, partnerships, and activations.
  • Help ensure consistency and quality of execution across consumer and retail touchpoints.
  • Cross-Functional Support
  • Support collaboration with Sales, Trade Marketing, and Supply Chain teams through preparation of reports and inputs for demand planning.
  • Assist in preparation for retailer meetings and internal forums.
  • Support engagement activities with other regions where required.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of data, reporting, and tracking tools.
