Our Nevada Active Consulting team in Las Vegas is seeking an Associate Clinician to support providers within the Regional Center’s network who serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs. This role focuses on assisting providers who are working with individuals with IDD experiencing crisis or who are at high risk of placement disruption. The Associate Clinician will work under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor (LCSW or LPC). Qualified candidates must reside in or near Las Vegas, NV. Schedule: This position is not a traditional Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm role. Candidates must have flexible availability, as we provide 24/7 on-demand crisis support.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, sociology, or related field required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with IDD and/or behavioral health diagnoses.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, marriage & family therapy, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide face-to-face or virtual coaching/training to DSP staff, caregivers, and family members.
  • Support the development and monitoring of Clinical Treatment Plans, including skill development and data collection.
  • Ensure DSPs have the necessary materials for treatment plan implementation.
  • Present graphical summaries of treatment effectiveness in meetings.
  • Model positive behavioral supports and respond to emergencies as trained.
  • Assist with Functional Behavior Assessments or other clinical assessments as assigned.
  • Share assessment results and best practice recommendations in meetings.
  • Provide crisis de-escalation support as needed.
  • Complete documentation on time.
  • Regularly update the Director and team on support activities.
  • Attend all required meetings.
  • Report suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation as required.
  • Follow all health, safety, and confidentiality standards.
