About The Position
The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with New York City H + H/Queens Hospital Center has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Chief of Otolaryngology. The Associate Chief of Otolaryngology will perform a full spectrum of general and subspecialty outpatient and surgical care. Candidates should have a strong interest in health equity and clinical operations as there are a variety of opportunities for program development and advancement. The hospital is easily accessible by public transportation and car from all areas of New York City, New Jersey and Long Island.
Requirements
- MD degree
- Board Certified
- Valid New York State License
- DEA and Medicaid number
- Strong clinical abilities
- Teaching experience
- Communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior management/leadership positions
- Experience with academic medical centers and/or public health systems
Responsibilities
- Oversight of all aspects of the otolaryngology service
- Supervision and training of staff
- On call responsibility
