About The Position

Tri Star Energy is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Associate Category Manager Foodservice to join our innovative Marketing team in our Store Support Center in Nashville, TN. The Associate Category Manager Foodservice supports the Senior Manager, Foodservice Innovation by executing category strategies, evaluating in-store programs, and supporting training, performance, and compliance initiatives. This role is focused on field observation, analysis, and reporting rather than direct store-level correction or coaching. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in foodservice, retail operations, QA, or multi-unit support roles
  • Strong analytical, observational, and reporting skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel locally and regionally
  • Ability to identify operational gaps and execution risks
  • Or, any equivalent combination of education and experience in job-related activities

Nice To Haves

  • Foodservice District Manager, Kitchen Coordinator, Health Inspector, or QA background
  • Prior multi-site oversight experience
  • C-Store or hospitality industry experience
  • Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Experience with audit, compliance, or inspection programs

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular field visits to evaluate foodservice programs and execution
  • Review foodservice planograms and validate procedures
  • Assess equipment functionality and compliance
  • Observe training and operational practices
  • Conduct site audits and operational assessments
  • Document findings, trends, and risks
  • Prepare reports and communicate insights to leadership
  • Escalate issues through proper channels
  • Support category strategies and in-store initiatives
  • Partner with Operations and Training teams
  • Monitor program performance and compliance
  • Maintain awareness of foodservice trends and best practices
  • Influence equipment and layout recommendations through field insight
