About The Position

At Stepwork, we are at the frontier of "Action-Oriented AI" where models don't just talk about work, they actually do it by navigating interfaces like a human would. For our customers, bridging the gap between a manual click-heavy process and a flawless automated flow isn't a "plug-and-play" endeavor; it requires a deep, creative understanding of how humans interact with software. The Agent Product Management (APM) team drives this journey as Stepwork’s in-house experts on building, deploying, and scaling computer vision-based AI agents. Because our agents interact with UIs like humans do, the APM team be creative with how we trigger flows from customers’ existing tech stacks and precisely when we load variables into prompts. As one of our early APMs, you will work directly with the people doing the work to bridge the gap between human effort and AI execution, acting as one part Product Manager and one part AI Architect. On the APM team, you’ll own each stage of the AI Agent building process. This includes: Collaborating with engineering to design new product features based on UI-interaction patterns. Architecting complex flows that use computer vision to navigate software, including deciding the logic for variable injection and system triggers. Building deep relationships with end-users—typically IT and Operations teams—to ensure our agents are solving their most painful manual tasks. You’ll partner closely with every team at Stepwork and you’ll become a key source of customer insight guiding our long-term product roadmap. APMs at Stepwork own their portfolio of agents end-to-end and are trusted to make a real impact on how the world's most innovative companies operate.
