About The Position

AT SRC AUTOMOTIVE, INC., WE’RE HIRING AN ASSOCIATE ACCOUNT MANAGER TO SUPPORT OUR SALES TEAM WHILE BUILDING AND MAINTAINING CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS IN A FAST-PACED MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in B2B sales, account management, and customer growth—balancing relationship building with real revenue responsibility.

Requirements

  • Experience in B2B sales, account management, or customer-facing roles
  • Background in manufacturing, automotive, marine, or industrial products preferred
  • Strong skills in relationship management, communication, and problem-solving
  • Experience with CRM systems and ability to be trained on company specific system
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable with 20% travel

  • Experience managing complex accounts or supply chains
  • A commercial mindset with focus on revenue growth and profitability
  • Confidence navigating challenging customer conversations

Responsibilities

  • Represent SRC Automotive and their product solutions to customers through phone calls, facility tours, and visits to the customer
  • Identify and recommend appropriate SRC solutions to customers as well as identify new opportunities for the business
  • Works with Engineering, Accounting, Materials, and Production to provide customer quotes
  • Keeps records of customer interactions and transactions, records details of complaints, inquiries, comments, and actions taken
  • Handle difficult conversations with customers in a professional manner
  • Participates in long term strategic sales planning and assists in delivering this message to SRC Automotive and the Corporate Board
  • Communicates customer needs to Supply Chain and Engineering
  • Work with customers, suppliers and other SRC Automotive departments/employees to provide solutions for customer needs
  • Conduct and analyze customer, market, and competitor data for current and future sales trends and customer needs
  • Respond to customer calls as necessary and expedite customer orders
  • Determine areas for sales growth, design and execute a plan to realize that growth
  • Assist the Sales Department in the budgetary process and conducting business within budgetary goals
  • Support Sales team with special projects as directed by Sales Manager
