About The Position

Fanatics is building a leading global digital sports platform, igniting the passions of global sports fans by offering products and services across Fanatics Commerce, Fanatics Collectibles, and Fanatics Betting & Gaming. They have an established database of over 100 million global sports fans and a global partner network with approximately 900 sports properties. Fanatics Collectibles is a new company operating at the intersection of collectibles, culture, and technology, backed by world-class investors and partners, aiming to be the global leader in next-generation collectibles. The HR Coordinator provides critical, execution-oriented support to the Fanatics Collectibles People function. This role serves as a frontline resource for employees and managers, driving operational excellence across HR transactions, data integrity, and policy adherence. The ideal candidate is organized, service-minded, and comfortable operating in a high-growth, fast-changing environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1–3+ years in HR operations, HR coordination, or related people-support function.
  • Working knowledge of core HR processes and regulations (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, I-9/E-Verify practices, wage & hour fundamentals).
  • Experience with HRIS and detail orientation.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion; strong judgment and stakeholder service orientation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting a manufacturing, distribution, or high-volume workforce.
  • Familiarity partnering with COEs (Talent Acquisition, L&D, HRIS, Benefits, Payroll).
  • Exposure to HR analytics/reporting and basic KPI dashboards.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries (payroll, benefits, timekeeping, leaves), triaging and resolving within defined SLAs; escalate to specialist COEs as appropriate.
  • Maintain employee records and organizational data in company systems; execute personnel transactions (new hire, job changes, separations) with audit-ready accuracy.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and applicable employment laws and regulations (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, ADA, I-9). Support periodic audits and remediation actions.
  • Coordinate end-to-end logistics (paperwork, systems access, orientation scheduling), ensuring a seamless employee experience and tight control of required documentation.
  • Intake and route leave, accommodation, and workers’ compensation matters, partnering with Benefits and HRBP/Legal as needed.
  • Produce routine headcount, turnover, and compliance reports; translate data into actionable insights for site leadership.
  • Interpret and communicate HR policies and procedures to employees and managers; update local HR resources and knowledge bases.
  • Maintain confidential personnel files in accordance with company retention standards and legal requirements.
  • Support local engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and site events to reinforce a safe, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects and continuous-improvement initiatives as assigned.
