About The Position

The Associate Director is responsible for the administration, awarding and disbursement of financial aid funding for all students, as well as the management of federal, state, and institutional aid programs in accordance with applicable regulations. The Associate Director is the primary coordinator of the continual implementation of the financial aid module and other related modules for the Anthology student information system. Responsible for oversight of the state financial aid programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, education or related field from an accredited college or university.
• At least three years of experience in post-secondary financial aid.
• Understanding of current federal rules and regulations
• experience with computerized information systems

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in business, finance, education or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Experience administering aid at an institution with 3,000+ students
• community college experience
• Knowledge of and proficiency with computer-based financial aid systems, student information systems, EdConnect, Common Origination & Disbursement (COD0, Central Processing System (CPS), Student Financial Aid (SFA) Partner Connect, and other U.S. Department of Education software.
• Experience with Microsoft products; especially with Excel.
