Director of Assisted Living
About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an Assisted Living Director. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong clinical leader who is eager to step into a well-established community with an established team, high census, and a supportive, experienced team. Our assisted living is part of a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), offering the advantage of a full continuum of care backed by strong, stable leadership. Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and clinical best practices
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead with confidence, compassion, and accountability
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or similar setting preferred
- Leadership or management experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and direction for the assisted living community
- Oversee clinical operations, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Lead, mentor, and support nursing and caregiving staff to promote high-quality care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members across the CCRC to enhance resident outcomes and continuity of care
- Maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare providers
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and departmental budgets
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation and assessments
- Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment
