We’re hiring an Assistant Warehouse Manager to support daily warehouse operations and lead a high-performing team in Kansas City, MO. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate, reliable, and on-time delivery while maintaining operational excellence, safety standards, and inventory accuracy. Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of warehouse or distribution center management experience
  • Experience developing and managing SOPs
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, RF warehousing, and material handling equipment
  • Strong computer proficiency (spreadsheets, inventory systems, UPS tracking)
  • Knowledge of freight regulations and safety management
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Ability to analyze data and develop reports
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English

Responsibilities

  • Support and oversee daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, put-away, and flow patterns
  • Lead and develop warehouse team members to ensure productivity and accountability
  • Maintain accurate inventory and appropriate stocking levels
  • Collect and analyze operational data; provide recommendations to management
  • Implement and improve systems and warehouse processes
  • Develop and manage standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain the physical condition and organization of the warehouse
  • Support and manage warehouse-related projects
