WSP is currently initiating a search for an Assistant Vice President – Hydrogeology for their Albuquerque, NM office. This role involves working with the US Mine Water & Environment Group, contributing to a growing organization that aims to meet client objectives and solve challenges. The position offers the opportunity to work as part of a regional team on challenging mining and hydrogeological projects. The successful candidate will bring hydrogeology leadership to complex, meaningful work, leading multi-disciplinary teams, shaping strategy with key clients, and mentoring junior groundwater practitioners, all while leveraging the resources of a global environmental practice. The role focuses on hydrogeology projects within the mining industry and beyond, delivering high-level consulting services in mine water management, mine permitting, mine closure planning, hydrogeological and surface water characterization investigations, and environmental impact assessments for global mining clients.
